Lovely place to stop for tea and cake.
We came on a cold Sunday after a pot of tea and a cake. The lovely girl at the till said she'd phone us when a table was free. 10 minutes into a little stroll to the Common we were called and immediately headed back to the warmth and a beautiful pot of Earl Grey and a slice of the most delicious carrot cake. Absolutely lovely and certainly recommended. A perfect example if a quaint village tea room!
Beautiful little tea shop.... BUT BEWARE - check your bill before you pay! We were charged 20.00 instead of 10.20. I only realised afterwards when I checked their online menu. When I sent them a polite email pointing this out to them they didn't even respond! A shame... at the very least an acknowledgement of this would have been polite!

Quaint English tea shop. Delicious cakes and relaxing atmosphere. Tea in sweet china cups and fresh food prepared on site. Limited seating but never had a problen getting a seat.
