Lovely place. However the service was slow. There was 21 of us for a birthday meal.We had decided to get our own drinks from the bar beforehand which should of eased any table service but it didn't. Some food that was ordered at that time came before pre ordered food?A few meals were cold but we're tasty and we were busy with celebration's so didn't mention it, we were not asked if everything was satisfactory. The staff that were there were very helpful but it all seemed a bit uncoordinated.Would definitely visit again but not in a large group. Lobster Gratin was superb.
The filet steak salad was amazing. Was wet and managed to sit by the fire perfect visit.
Extensive menu. Too many good options to choose from! Food was nice but not amazing and we were a large group (12) and I sensed the kitchen and 1 waitress struggled to cope. Some if the food wasn't particularly warm. And condiments had to be requested but arrived as meals were almost finished. Waitress was lovely. Decor and location good next to the river.
Worst restaurant experience in a long time. Good food but a 3hr wait from beginning to end, culminating in the waiting staff forgetting to tell the kitchen we were waiting for desserts. Ridiculous for a table of 20+
Gorgeous decor and a lovely ambiance. Although it was quite busy it didn't sound noisy or loud. We were all able to talk over lunch without shouting. Food was delicious and service attentive and pleasant. I'm looking forward to going there again.
